Contracts Division
JSB Rail recognises that on the railway, works of a repetitive or sub-complex nature are often more effectively carried out when packaged together on a contract and sub-contract basis.
Our staff have completed a variety of works package contracts. For instance we recently finished a programme of Under Track Crossings (UTX) in the North West territory. We are experienced at installing concrete troughing, constructing Signal Post bases, undertaking OLE Civils, Bridge Re-pointing and other structure and station works.
JSB Rail tree surgeons and loppers have a wealth of both rail-side and off-rail expertise; we are currently carrying out tree felling and de-vegetation works throughout the rail network.
In terms of contract management and site supervision, JSB Rail is fortunate to employ some of the most capable and proven professionals on the railway, who not only have extensive experience of rail construction contracts but also hands-on experience of mainstream building and construction.
Our works contract division is important to JSB Rail because it helps staff retention and development across the company. Our ability to plan and conduct assessments, mentoring and shadow shifts in our own time and expense means we create a realistic training environment without compromise to the works.
JSB Rail’s Contracts Division takes the company a step closer to providing what many consider to be a ‘one stop shop’ service. Our goal is straightforward… we simply want to provide the industry with credible options on supply chain decisions.
